Playing it’s part in history.
Formerly known as East Clontarf, the land at Cygnia Cove has had a variety of uses. Farming, pine plantation, playing fields and even a school have all played a part in it’s rich history.
Following a Public Environmental Review, approval was given for the development of the site in 2005. Strict conditions were imposed to ensure the protection of the flora and Fauna and the iconic Black Swans that breed in the area.
Richard Noble and Company commissioned a team of environmental consultants, engineers, planners, architects and landscape architects to undertake the preparation of a number of environmental management plans to meet the conditions. The results of which include the retention of parkland areas including an expanded Clontarf Bay foreshore retained and constructed wetlands and landscaped Parks.
